High Voltage 2011 - Sky Arts 20th August!

Sky Arts 1 HD will broadcast "Highlights" from High Voltage 2011 on Saturday 20th August at 10pm.

Sadly, in what is a blatant travesty, only acts on the "Main" stage will be featured as neither the "Prog" stage (despite being obviously the most popular and consistently attended for both years) or the "Metal" stage were filmed this year.

The programme promises to show highlights from, Slash, Thin Lizzy, Queensryche, Rival Sons, Saint Jude, Michael Monroe, Thunder, Skin, Black Country Communion, Dream Theater and Judas Priest.

Hopefully the show will be better than the poor showing from Sky of the 2010 Festival where, despite all of the 3 stages and all bands being filmed, viewers only got to see brief excerpts from a few of the acts on the bill.
